Exit to Extinction Part 1
Chris McCormack is back with Exit to Extinction, a three part digital only release comprising tons of classic and new material. Chris was heavily involved in the techno scene from 1995-2004, producing many big techno tunes including classics like Erase Techno, the infamous Ground and Gueshky Remixes, his widely acclaimed UK Gold project and completely far out journeys like the Locked and Sea level EP's. In addition to these classics found on Part I, there's also brand new mixes including an exclusive digital only release of 'Pirates', archived material like 'Your Green Eyes', 'They feed you Scraps like Starving Bongo Dogs' and 'Jellyfish', 'Flight Decimator' (as famously sampled by Fatboy Slim on the top ten hit 'Star 69') plus the Title Track 'Exit to Extinction', a nuts journey into operatic Techno. There's also a couple of tracks from the ultra rare 'There are Better Ways' CD only release. 24 tracks and over 2 hours of music, Exit to Extinction Part I serves as the perfect introduction to what made Chris such a loved and admired producer in the techno scene and signals a return to one of techno's true visionaries with the additional bonus material and the forthcoming brand new Parts II and III.
Exit to Extinction Part 2 - Clownface: Six Feet Under
Part II of Exit to Extinction is something no Chris McCormack fan will have heard before. Dark, brooding and menacing but with many touching and beautiful moments. 'Six Feet Under' is the fictional story of Clownface, a dark and troubled man, a man without a father figure. A grave digger plagued by a lifetime of visions and voices. When he looses his mother, he finally goes off the rails and takes his own life.
